When teaching at one of my courses or seminars, I often find myself saying, “I know this is common sense, but…” What happens is that I assume that most people will feel the same way because they have heard the same statement over and over and that we really shouldn’t have to mention it again. But we do have to mention it again, because, frankly, Common Sense Just Isn’t That “Common”!
